What is the prize fund?The GETSEEN Prize fund is determined based on the number of teams participating in the tournament event. All teams pay an equal amount to participate in the tournament (skin in the game). Teams must finish in the top 3 teams to receive a portion of the prize fund. A prize fund of Five Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($500,000) (the “Team Prize”) shall be awarded to the winners of the Tournament. The amount of the Tournament Team Prize may be increased or decreased in the Producer’s sole discretion. The Team Prize shall be allocated among such Team’s Participants (as defined below) as such Team determines, subject to certain restrictions contained herein. The prize fund will be distributed in the following format: Champions: Four Hundred Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($400,000) Runner-Up: Seventy Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($70,000) Third Place: Thirty Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($30,000)

Can players/coaches participate for multiple teams?No. However, players and coaches can move between teams prior to the Roster Deadline.

What is your refund policy?We have a strict No Refund Policy once a contract has been signed.

What are the team logo requirements?All teams are required to submit a crest team logo in EPS. or AI. format. All team logo's must be approved by GETSEEN.

What is the team selection process?Our selection process is designed to place the most competitive teams in our the tournament. Teams are selected during the application period. Teams that complete the registration process promptly have a higher chance of participation.

What are the requirements for Team Owners?There must be one team owner per team. The Team Owner is the individual who registers a team with GETSEEN and who oversees all aspects of the team, including, without limitation, payment of entry fees, recruiting players, communicating with GETSEEN, managing the roster, and otherwise handling the team’s application to play and participate in any GETSEEN event. What are the requirements for coaches?All coaches must be approved by GETSEEN prior to participation in any event. We require all coaches to be at least 18 years old. Coaches should have high level basketball backgrounds at the NCAA DI, DII, DIII, professional overseas, G-League or former NBA playing experience. This experience should be verifiable via reliable outlets. What are the requirements for players?All players must be approved by GETSEEN prior to participation in any event. We require all players to be at least 18 years old and have no NCAA eligibility and should have high level basketball backgrounds at the NCAA DI, DII, DIII, professional overseas, G-League or former NBA playing experience. This experience should be verifiable via reliable outlets. Do I need a bank account to participate?Yes. All participants must have a valid U.S. bank account.

What forms of payment are accepted for team applications?We accept all major credit and debit cards.

What is the 3-Game Guarantee?Each team is guaranteed 2 pool play games and 1 game bracket play game in the knock rounds.

Are coed teams permitted to participate?Yes. Coed teams may participate as long as the players and coaches meet the participation requirements.

Do sponsored and charity teams need to have a Team Owner?Yes! All teams are required to have a Team Owner. This person serves as the decision maker for the team.

What is the team entry fee?The current team entry fee is $20,000 per team.

What are the age requirements to participate?Participants must be at least 18 years old and have no NCAA eligibility available.

Can a player apply if they have not been selected by a team to participate?No individual registration are permitted. All registrations are at the team level. Once a team has been approved to participate, all participants selected by an approved team must then complete an individual registration which is subject to approval by GETSEEN staff.

What is the Application Deadline?The Application Deadline is the final date we will accept applications for the tournament. The current Application Deadline is May 1, 2025 (11:59 PM - EST).

What is the Application Period?The Application Period is when the GETSEEN team will review all submitted applications from prospective Team Owners and begin the process of determining which teams will be selected to the field of 64. The Current Application Period is September 1, 2024 - May 1, 2025.

What is the Roster Deadline?The Roster Deadline is the final date that approved teams must submit their rosters. Adding players after this deadline will result in a fee. The current Roster Deadline is May 6, 2025 (11:59 PM - EST).

What is the Selection Deadline?The Selection Deadline is the final day GETSEEN will hold approved team spots. Team Owners should submit final payment prior to this deadline. After the Selection Deadline, GETSEEN will offer available team spots to other approved teams on the approved list. The current Selection Deadline is May 5, 2025 (11:59 PM - EST).

What it the Target Score?Target Score Explained: 1. The first time the game clock is stopped with 4:00 minutes or less in the 4th quarter of each game, timed play will end and a Target Score will be set, equal to the leading team's score plus nine (+10). EXAMPLE: At the stoppage, if the game's score is 77-71 then the Target Score after adding 10 points is 87 2. The first team to reach the Target Score wins the game 3. The shot clock will remain intact and used for the entire duration of the 4th quarter of the game as it normally would be 4. The Target Score will be displayed in plain sight on each end of the court and on the broadcast Intent of Target Score: 1. Eliminate/reduce deliberate fouling by the trailing defense 2. Eliminate/reduce stalling by the leading offense 3. Eliminate/reduce rushed/sloppy possessions by the trailing offense 4. Provide greater hope for late comebacks 5. Provide more memorable game-ending moments 6. Eliminate late-game clock controversies and reviews
